Grave Return
« on: August 18, 2006, 11:08:07 PM »
While cleaning out my aunt's house, we came across a tombstone. A little freaked out, yet intrigued, I asked her where she got this from. She lives a good 20 minutes from the cemetery, so I wasn't extremely surprised when she said Bachelors Grove. I am leaving for school on the 25th and I really want to return it before i go. Any suggestions as to what I shoudl do? Is there anyone that would know where this would go? Or shoudl I just set it down somewhere? I appreciate your help guys and gals!

Very interesting find!  What is the name on the stone?  I'm sure someone here will have some info if they have a name.  Good job on deciding to return it to its rightful place as well.  You're a good man Charlie Brown.

haha ya definately.  ya somewhere on this site there is a layout of all the original plots before they were all mixed up and stolen, you could probably find it there.  Post a picure of it.  That would be cool to see another grave at the grove.  How did she happen to get it anyway?

I really wish he did actually return it, or maybe even take it to the Tinley Park Historical society.

I just don't understand why anyone would actually want someone elses gravestone. What do you get out of that?
