Albino Squirrel
« on: April 18, 2009, 10:11:47 AM »
I spotted my first in-person, fully white, Albino squirrel today. And in the Rubio Woods parking lot of all places.... I took a photo but I wish it came out better. If anyone else can get a good shot of the Albino squirrels near the cemetery please post them! It's simply a rare sight near the cemetery! Although, I did read today that Illinois has a city with the largest population of Albino squirrels in the world?! You learn something new everyday....

You are right Pete Olney, IL. has a large population of white squirrels. When I used to live in Beverly on Drew street we had 3 white squirrels in the neighborhood.
