So my friends and I decided last night would be a good one to visit the BG. We went back there and chilled with a couple who was hanging out with a couple of beers by the infant tombstone. We then started wandering. My buddy and I were exploring off the trail a little bit, looking for tombstones. He felt a tug on his shirt and it led him right to a tombstone.
Weird..
We then went off to the area that people used to do satanic rituals. We found the area after walking what seemed to be like forever.
This is where it begins to get weird..
We have been back to this area quite a bit, so we know our way around, even in the middle of the night. We turn around to find the trail absolutely gone. Like we couldn't find it. So we go back in the general direction we came, but we literally crossed the creek in the woods 20 times. Back and forth. And we were going in the same direction.
We would stop every now and then, hearing faint voices or weird sounds. And it seemed that every time we decided to turn a different way, we would see an object lit up in a white light. So, naturally, we would go towards it.
After two hours tromping in the woods (me in my sandals, no less), we started getting freaked out. We all started arguing and yelling to go opposite ways from each other.
Eventually, I said forget it and just followed the creek down until we finally found the path out. Great relief, trust me.
So we leave the area, and i start getting phone calls and texts. My mom, for example, called me to tell me that my number popped up on the call log twice (at 330 am) and the third time she answered. She heard voices (not the voices of my friends or I) whispering and saying really strange things. I also had friends call me to tell me that they received a text message around 335 saying "Help us" or "I'm so scared". Neither my text log or online text log showed text messages or calls sent any time we were in there.
It was seriously Blair Witch in there. It felt like we were being led away from the path while we were lost, and every few minutes i'd feel a light touch on my arm (not a mosquito landing on your skin feeling, mind you), or having my hair on my neck raise on end. There was also faint sounds of laughing here and there. It was definitely an experience that I will never soon forget.
