I went to the Grove for the first time today ( Tuesday 3/28/06 ) with my husband and two of our dogs. Seeing as it was daylight I did not expect to see anything. U have wanted to see the Grove for a long time.
Our dogs were fine there, they did not react to anything at all. I felt a little unsteady when I was by the Fulton headstone, but it passed quickly. Overall, I and my husband felt peaceful there.
When we left, however, something strange happened to my husband and his dog. As we were getting near the end of the path out, her hackles went up on the front, and then the hair went up on her back. She never stopped sniffing, though, and never reacted in a threatened or scared way except for her hair going up. I pointed that out to my husband who said that some one was following us out. Of course there was no one behind us on the path. He also told me he felt cold. As soon as we were past the chain, her hackles went down.
Neither my dog nor I felt anything, but my husband said that he felt that since we had been respectful in the cemetary, someone was walking us out ( like a host would walk you to the door of their house after a visit.)
We did not have anything with us except a digital camera, which caught nothing paranormal. So, I can't document it any better than this.
Has anyone else had this kind of experience?
